FCH JU Review Days 2014

Involved researchers

ARES will attend the Joint Undertaking (FCH JU) Programme Review as EDen Project Coordinator, one of the project under the application area "Hydrogen production and storage".

The Fuel Cells and Hydrogen Joint Undertaking (FCH JU) is a unique public private partnership supporting research, technological development and demonstration (RTD) activities in fuel cell and hydrogen energy technologies in Europe. Its aim is to accelerate the market introduction of these technologies, realising their potential as an instrument in achieving a carbon-lean energy system

The Joint Undertaking (FCH JU) is organising the fourth edition of its Programme Review.
The objective is to assess, over the years, progress of the programme funded by the FCH JU, notably in relation to the targets of its Multi-annual Implementation Plan (MAIP), annual implementation plans as well as in relation to international developments in the field.
This exercise managed by the FCH JU with the help of independent experts was initiated in 2011 and is planned to be conducted every year. It will be particularly relevant to assess the progress of the portfolio of projects, define the next Annual Implementation Plan of the FCH JU, but also provide guidelines for the second phase of the programme as a whole. It will also offer an excellent visibility platform for projects and technological developments in the sector in addition to networking opportunities for project participants.

The three members of the FCH JU are the European Commission, fuel cell and hydrogen industries represented by the NEW Industry Grouping and the research community represented by Research Grouping N.ERGHY
Brussels, Belgium
